Reverberate

I want to dispense the sacrifices behind me

And lead a new path today.

A path that leads me somewhere

A better place than I am today!

I want to build myself

With rocks thrown at me;

And shelter the universe

Entailing the stone throwing spree!

I want to retrospect today

Decades of seasons from now

And feel pride within me

Of the setbacks I’ve overcome now!

I don’t want to be satiated;

Nor today nor tomorrow;

I want to grow

Till the day I’m burrowed!
